Engineer Al-Farmawy owns an old building in a popular neighborhood. The stairs are starting to fall and are about to collapse. He wants to vacate the house to demolish it and build a building in its place that will generate a large income for him. The tenants refuse to leave the house, so he assigns his son Kamal to take legal action to get them to leave the house. However, Kamal has a romantic relationship with Ezza, who is one of the residents.
